Most of our pillar caps are standard four-way weathered, but we do have a 15" x 15", a 14" x 14" and 21" x 21" pillar cap with a flat top. These are especially useful should you want to mount the pillar cap with a light fitting or ornamental top,i.e. a sphere (see above).

Measuring up for a pillar cap is very similar to measuring up for a wall coping. If the pillar is having a skim, you will want to include that into your measurement. Standard overhang either side of the pillar cap is between 1/2inch and 1inch, however this decision is entirely up to you.

If our pillar caps aren't suitable for you, if you're pillar isn't square, what about using a slab? We have various sized slabs (York stone Randoms or Paving Slabs) and standard slabs to suit.
